Bob and his wife, Colleen, reside in Chester County and have three children, ages 14, 18, and 21. Bob was born in the Midwest, active in sports, and learned the value of hard work at an early age from his paper route and shoveling snow during the Michigan winters. When his father changed jobs in 1974, Bob’s family moved to Chester County. He enjoys time with his family, golf, and the satisfaction of helping others.
He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1985 with degrees in finance and economics and then immediately started his career as a financial advisor. In 1998, Bob founded Comprehensive Financial Advisers to establish his independence. This allowed him the opportunity to provide personalized solutions to help his clients pursue their goals and objectives without being tied to proprietary products or services. Bob received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1990 and his MS in financial planning degree in 1994. He then obtained his Certification in Long-Term Care in 2000.
He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is recognized for his expertise in the field of wealth management. Kathy has decades of experience in the financial services industry and has aided Bob in servicing clients' needs since 2010. She particularly enjoys the personal interaction with clients and likes to receive updates about their families and their concerns.
Client care and communication are the foundation of her personal approach. Her main responsibilities involve providing the exceptional level of service that is held in such high esteem by our clients. Scheduling times and gathering data for appointments, preparing and processing required forms, and notifying clients when forms have been received or distributions from their account have been issued. She also assists clients on how to view their accounts online, obtaining tax-related documentation, and reminding clients of any outstanding items that need their attention.
