Founder

Bob was born in the Midwest, where he was very active in sports. He learned the value of hard work at an early age from his paper route and shoveling snow during the Michigan winters. He came to Pennsylvania in 1974 when his family moved to Chester County.

Bob started his career as a financial advisor in 1985 after graduating from the University of Delaware with degrees in finance and economics. He founded Comprehensive Financial Advisers in 1998 to establish his independence. This allowed him the opportunity to provide personalized solutions to help his clients pursue their goals and objectives without being tied to proprietary products or services. Bob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He earned an MS degree in financial planning in 1994 and obtained his Certification in Long-Term Care in 2000.

Bob’s clients appreciate his attention to detail, good listening skills, and empathetic approach. He is also supported by a dedicated administrative team, both in-house and through Commonwealth Financial Network®, his award-winning broker/dealer. Bob’s acumen and his exceptional support team provide outstanding client service that helps build long-term relationships with his growing client base.

He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is recognized for his competence in the field of wealth management. Bob has appeared on CN8, FOX29, WHYY, ABC News, and WCOJ 1430, and has also been a featured financial advisor in the Journal of Financial Planning, Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News, USA Today, and Boston Globe.

Bob and his wife, Colleen, live in Chester County and have three grown children. He enjoys time with his family, golf, and the satisfaction of helping others.
